I posted a picture of me on my blog, but FredX showed me how one guy who was open about himself, got fired because of what he wrote on his blog, so I took it down..

Except the thing is that I grew my hair long for my power metal band. It is not nearly as long as some power metal musicians’, but it is still much longer than most men’s.

fem scum, I believe your comment makes it even more imperative for the MRA’s to actually start grouping up and forming a safe community in parallel to the blogsphere.
I am not too keen about those forums there, so by the end of this week-end we shall put an e-mail list with yahoo groups. Hopefully many will join and will take the opportunity to create and build social ties and groups with other like minded people in their area.

I’d just like to give my brief take on this
I am all for forums- and I’m active in a few of them to, esp. AM
What I’d like to see is some ‘live talk’
I’m on MSN- and already have a few MRA’s I talk with- either one-on-one or in small groups
If anyone’s interested- they can contact me via email, private message in forums or through this thread about it
I’d encourage all MRA’s to use this as a means of mass communication- especially since we’re online- or try to be- most of the time

well no ones need to be an mra to join, antifeminists and the likes are welcome. It is possible that not enough people may be interested, who knows people may not be ready for such a thing, if it is the case, depending on how many people would have joined by the end of the two weeks, we can either decide to keep it up or take it down.
I am hopping that it would also be used by female aniti feminists as well as the men. i think it should be a stepping stone fro a more real life community somewhere down the road. you know, the guys getting together for movies, nights out, fishing, hunting. Women have all kinds of women groups, men barely have any if none. Even us women can use some support for each others, 50 years ago, women would help each other out with housekeeping and stuff like that, today we are all stuck in our corner if we are not feminists, therefore, it can also be nice for the women to pass around all kinds of recipes and tricks and stuff like that and discuss all kinds of things. we want a better society right? well that’s what i am hopping to do.
Also if the group works, we a baby on the way I most likely won;t have time for it, so down the road, i most likely will pass down the group to someone i the group willing to take it on.
Fred, MSN is great, there is nothing better as live talk. but at the same time, not everyone can always be live. Perhaps we should make the MSN, Yahoo, and the blogs working together. Might as well use all the resources available to us!

In fact, if we have a few doing so, I can foresee the advent of a subforum being created (including email notification) which could be used amongst a few select members (usually by invitation/recomendation).
